CardSense Terms of Service

Last updated October 17, 2026

The short version

CardSense helps you pick the right card and keep track of your rewards. It's information to help you decide - not financial advice - and the bank's own terms always win. Be fair with your account, and we'll be fair with you.

Using CardSense

You need to be 18 or older and hold your own cards to use CardSense. Keep your login safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

What CardSense does - and doesn't

CardSense shows the offers and benefits on your cards, suggests which card to use, and adds up what you've saved. We work hard to get this right, but banks change their offers, terms and rewards all the time, and their records are what count. Always check the offer or benefit with your bank before relying on it. CardSense is not a bank, doesn't issue cards, doesn't move money, and doesn't give financial, tax or legal advice.

Your banks and other services

You sign in to your bank yourself. When you use CardSense with your bank's website, or connect a card through Plaid, you're also using those services under their own terms, and you're responsible for following them. CardSense never asks for your bank password and never moves money.

CardSense Pro

Some features need CardSense Pro, a subscription you buy through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal and cancellation: it renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings, and refunds go through Apple. Prices are shown before you buy.

Points and invites

Points are a fun way to track what you've done in CardSense. They have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and we may change how they're earned or used. Points earned by cheating (fake accounts, made-up invites or activity) can be removed.

Fair use

Don't misuse CardSense: no breaking the law, attacking or overloading the service, reading other people's data, copying the app, or using it to break your bank's terms.

Your data

How we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy (getcardsense.com/privacy). You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app: Profile → Delete my account.

Changes and ending

CardSense will keep improving, so features may change. We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. You can stop using CardSense at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and limits

CardSense is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for missed offers, rewards, credits or fees, for mistakes in information from banks or other services, or for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for CardSense in the 12 months before the claim.
